SJBHS makes it easy and affordable to have your pet spayed or neutered!
We offer transport to Operation Spay Bay in Panama City the 3rd Thursday of every month!
Come by the shelter during operating hours to sign up!
HOW IT WORKS
MAKE
AN

TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

Applications can be picked up at the shelter or downloaded from the website.

Application must be completed and dropped off along with payment in order to be placed on the schedule for your pet's spay or neuter.

Dropoff and Pickup instructions will be given when appointment is scheduled.

DROPPING OFF

CATS

Drop off for Cats is Wednesday afternoon, the day prior to surgery between 1pm and 4pm at SJBHS Shelter.
DOGS

Drop off for Dogs is the morning of the surgery between 6:30am and 7:00am EST. at SJBHS Shelter.
***The "Neuter Commuter" van will leave promptly at 7:05am for the Spay Bay Clinic.
***If you live closer to the Operation Spay Bay facility and wish to self transport your pet, please coordinate with shelter staff. Self drop offs at the clinic site are at 7:00am CT.
PICK UP YOUR PET

Our shelter staff will contact you on the afternoon of the surgery day to let you know when the Spay Bay shuttle leaves to head back to the shelter in Port St Joe. On a typical Spay Bay day, the shuttle returns to the shelter between 4pm and 5pm.

In the event of special circumstances, the shelter staff will alert you of any delays.
**Our Shelter closes on Thursdays at 5pm.
